#TeamHonk nipped off to Ghana to support Comic Relief and celebrate 25 years of the Red Nose Day and what a fabulous job they did too, a massive thank you to everyone who took part in the BritMums twitter party. So many Red Nose Day memories came forth including a lot of snogging! *ahem*
How has your week been? Mine was cold and incredibly busy. I can’t tell you how happy I am to see the weekend at long last. I have struggled to stay focused this week as so many outside elements distracted me from what I was doing.
Does that happen to you?
Sometimes Facebook is a life saver and sometimes it’s a curse as every photo, status update and comment grabs your attention pulling your attention away from what you’re doing. Before you know it you’ve spent the whole day on Facebook and still have a ton of things to complete like yesterday! And you have to re-check what you’re doing for errors.
Do check out Kate’s BritMums carnival on Naked Mum. It’s very simple to take part in the Carnival all you have to do is send a post to the blog that’s hosting a couple of days before it’s due to go live. It’s a great way to meet new bloggers and exchange link love too. NarrowBoat Wife is hosting the next carnival she has chosen the theme of canals, boats and water but more importantly dreams as we all have a dream, surely? Head over and say hi to Peggy.
My #MBPW this week has to be my digital postcard from #TeamHonk in Ghana, a beautiful picture of 6 week old baby Desmond with his mother sitting outside the vaccine clinic waiting their turn for the life saving injections against ROTA, do have a look and if you see any postcard please share them so we spread the message far and wide.
One last important message I want to pass on, one of our members lost her 9 month old baby last weekend and the entire community is shocked and so very sad. Jennie is making a collage of posts celebrating her beautiful daughter Matilda Mae. If you’d like to show her your support you can find her on her blog Edspire, every comment is much appreciated in this dark time. Jennie you are in our thoughts and in our minds constantly.
Time to let us know your #MBPW add the URL of your favourite post to the Linky below and whilst you’re here try to visit another couple of blogs too.
Have a great week and see you same time same place next Saturday
