What video stands out for you in 2012? That’s what I have been asking my fellow bloggers this month.
BritMums Editor Mari’s favourite video is her twins first day at school and mine has to be this little snippet from the toilet queue at Camp Bestival.
From Ben at Mutterings of a Fool, we have the rather fabulous 12 Dads of Christmas a collaboration of 12 of the finest Dad bloggers, in fine Christmas voice.
Continuing the Christmas theme, if you didn’t catch the Toyota 12 Days of Christmas mash up then here it is, featuring some BritMums members. Maggy at Red Ted Art captured Pip Squeak’s short but very sweet Christmas message. Older Single Mum also has a lovely Christmas message from her kids, with an added extra no one was quite prepared for to finish.
What’s video if it can’t be about catching your kids doing silly stuff? Helen at Kiddycharts captured her son, the stunt man and the Boy and Me’s little boy does a scarily good rendition of the The Monkees.
Jayne over at Mum’s the Word captured her daughter talking about equal marriage, it isn’t strictly a video, but it is a really powerful post. It’s been a while since I have featured an issue vlog, I hope to see more in 2013. One that really stuck in my mind, and brought tears to my eyes was Kate Takes 5′s vlog about the situation in Syria.
Jayne at Practically Perfect Mum made this lovely video with her son James, a campaign to reopen re-open the Portishead to Bristol Railway line.
Becky over at English Mum has been blogging an amazing six years and this lovely video captures the characters and brands who’ve joined her on the journey. Becky, along with and Liz from The Mum Blog were also featured on Channel 5 talking about Disneyland, you can see them at 21:18.
If you haven’t already, do check out the video for last year’s BritMum’s Live, by Vicki at Honest Mum, it gives a fantastic insight into the event and you are bound to see a few faces you recognise.
Whatever you have planned for 2013, good luck and don’t forget your video camera! Please link up any videos for next month’s round up or contact me with a link to yours, I’m always looking for new contributors to feature.
