“My favourite memory for Red Nose Day was Davina McCall snogging David Tenant in 2009,” says Tanya Barrow, aka Mummy Barrow. “I remember just being so shocked that she ended up on the floor. It was hysterical!”

Here’s a little video reminder, in case you missed it!

For Penny Alexander, who blogs at The Alexander Residence, she fondly recalls “looking round the school assembly and seeing a sea of students and teachers wearing red noses, even the headteacher had one on. I loved red nose day at school, it was always surreal, there was a real sense of carnival and of coming together to make a difference.”

This year Red Nose Day (15th March) celebrates its 25th anniversary.

We’ll be sharing our memories of Red Nose Day on Tuesday 5 February from 11:00-12:00 – join us to show your support and get people talking and involved with this important cause.

this is just so fabulous that mammasaurus, mummy barrow and penny are doing this! I love it when people get to see first hand what is happening and come back even more inspired, encouraged and enthusiastic which then has a knock on effect in inspiring others too. Can’t wait to hear more aobut it. We are not around tues am for the twitter party although it is tempting to cancel our plans just to join in! (don’t think the kids will forgive me though if i did). xxx
