Hangout: What should the New New Year’s Resolutions be?

Cherry Healey

Cherry will be hanging out with BritMums

Many of us make New Year’s resolutions and often for women, resolutions have a familiar ring: lose weight, spend more time with the children, make ourselves better.

But are there more modern resolutions we should focus on?

We’re talking about The New New Year’s Resolutions at 10am on Tuesday 8 January with Cherry Healey. Watch live on the BritMums on G+ or catch it later on our BritMumsTV YouTube channel.

Also joining us are Mari from Mari’s World, Helen from KiddyCharts, Jo from Slummy Single Mummy and BritMums co-founder Susanna Scott.

New New Year’s Resolutions
10am
Tuesday 8 January 2013

There are a lot of changes happening for women politically and socially: the debate about women on company boards, the struggle for girls’ education worldwide, the changing face of the family and men’s increasing role as caregivers, and of course the debate about women having it all.

Should “having it all” be part of our individual resolutions this year? Instead of “lose weight” should we take a cue from the Olympic athletes and focus on getting fit and challenging ourselves physically?

Instead of listing what we “should” do, what if we made a pledge to NOT do certain things: NOT to take on too much, NOT to set unrealistic goals?

Come watch our Hangout with Cherry Healey!
