I’ve done all of my Christmas gift shopping. There I said it and I feel so good about that too. Now of course I have to face the next task, wrapping and sending, as some of my gifts are destined for abroad and that means I need to get some speed and get them posted out quick. Take a peek at the Royal Mail Christmas dates as some have already passed.
Then there are the Christmas cards to write, this year not just my own but the girls’ too as all the parents have the habit of sending cards to all the friends in the class. 30 children x 2 … at least the girls have learnt to write their own names!
Cards written and sent I move on thinking about food so my current task is depleting what’s already in the freezer to make room for the humongous shop that will be for the festive season.
Where are you with your preparations?
Don’t forget to add any Christmas posts you have to our Christmas blog hop and then why not take a photo and join in the O2 Guru Linky challenge, share what the Magic of Christmas means to your family. Not sure a shot of the inside of my freezer is what they’re looking for but I bet you can come up with some great ideas!
Trish has written a fabulous Travel round-up this week, if you’re off anywhere over Christmas and write about it, link up to her round-up so we can all read it and a huge thank you to @WallyMummy who stepped into Helen Wills’ shoes this month and wrote her first Newbie round-up for us, she has discovered some excellent newbies well worth a moment of your time.
Finally, fancy your chances at singing your way into a Toyota advert? Check out Penny’s Video round-up and find out more of sharing your version of The 12 days of Christmas. See the other great videos and why not have a go yourself?
Add your favourite post from the past week to the Linky below and try and visit a couple of others too.
Happy preparations everyone
