Trimmings and Sauces
One of my fave recipes is Chestnut Stuffing, loads of onion, apple, chestnuts, breadcrumbs and sausage meat. @peartsue61

I do my own pigs in blankets with sausage meat, grated apple, wrap in bacon and pop a cocktail stick through. @cherriemayhem

Vegetables
Best sprouts ever: parboiled, then pan fried in very little oil till the outer leaves crispy. @jhowze
Parsnips, Brussels and petit pois….with mint and bacon!!! A must try as a Xmas Side dish @Ami4Levi
Chop up your Brussels and fry with a little garlic and some pancetta. Sure to convert Brussels haters! @VeeJay78

Potatoes
If you like roast pots with crunchy bits give them a good shake once part boiled and drained before roasting. Use duck fat too. @cherriemayhem
Top tip for perfect crunchy/fluffy roasties – drop of vinegar in water while par boiling them. Don’t know why, but works. @missielizzieb

Puddings
Love Delia’s Pavlova for Christmas pudding. @cloudyagain
Homemade mincemeat ice cream? Delicious and easy to make in advance. @aitcheldee

    Thank you so much for including my tips, I spent my Lakeland voucher on a lovely new cutlery set, which will be making their debut with Christmas dinner :-)
