Beauty Round-up: PANIC! I need more time

beautyThe time for this month’s beauty round-up has crept up on me ninja-like with the greatest of stealth and noiseless slippers.

Regular readers of my blog, or more likely my irratic and irregular tweets, will know that I started a new job last week.  Not only is it a new job, but it is also full-time.  Having only worked part-time (half-time) for the last 6 years, this has come as something of a shock to the system.

I am already starting to get spots around my nose from a weekday battering of foundation.  My poor face used to get at least four make-up free days per week, not it only gets two.

Finding the right beauty regime to help me look, and feel, my best is more important than ever, but; as I point out in my latest post about the perils of beauty blogging over 30; I can’t exactly trial and test different products in the first few weeks at my new job for fear of scaring the rest of my team away.

So it is with great glee that I turn to my fellow Britmum’s bloggers for their beauty tips this month:

HonestMum has really helpfully provided us with her top products for autumn/winter.

Liz Jarvis has discovered that getting you highlights done doesn’t have to take four hours out of your day at Karine Jackson Hair and Beauty; always a good thing!

Taz reviews blusher and eyeliner from Arbonne International on her blog ‘Not my year off‘.

I would love for you to share some of your beauty posts by linking up below!

Found a ‘swear-by’ product?  Write about it in a blog post and link up, or share in the comments below.

Until next time!

About Louise Yummymummy

Louise started writing her blog Yummy Mummy? Really? after becoming a mum and discovering that it was harder than ever to keep looking yummy. Louise is a self-confessed late starter when it comes to beauty treatments and only started wearing make-up 5 years ago after the birth of her first daughter. She blogs both about her attempts to stay looking yummy; with posts on everything from electrolysis to home work-outs; and what she’s learnt as a mummy; from how to change a nappy, what kit you need to feed on the go, and how to avoid toddler tantrums!
