My eyes nearly popped out when I read that Halloween is now a £300m+ industry! (and boosting UK spending).
When I first moved to the UK nearly 20 years ago, I was lucky to find a pumpkin at Tesco to carve. Now there are pumpkin grottos, Halloween discos and lots and lots of youngsters dressed as goblins and blood witches (I didn’t make that up).

LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween!!! I think perhaps in rebellion to my mother who NEVER let us trick or treat growing up (It’s akin to begging darling) and as my daughter celebrates her birthday on the 30th, it is the PERFECT excuse to party!
