Hope you are all having a delightful summer. I have been relishing togetherness and long days with my kids. Over at Baby Budgeting I have made a Vlog about all about my children’s simple pleasures and the gratitude journals they have been keeping. On my Family Budgeting blog I have begun a new linky for everyone to share their car boot sale finds. It’s up every Sunday do join in with Car Boot Booty!
I have been having a good look around the blogosphere and I have to say there are some lovely thrifty posts being written as parents get creative for their children. Over at the lovely London Mummy blog I found a whole section of thrift posts and some really cool treasures being created by Esther. Check out her alphabet cards and cubes all made from a sheet of wrapping paper. Inspired!
Over at Lulastic and The Hippyshake there is Domino crafting going on, fun, thrifty and a rather fabulous to display kids art work and the like! This is a great blog for vintage treasure and thrifty craft ideas.
As the summer draws towards its end (I know I’m sobbing too) the sales will soon be starting. Ruth from Mini Break Mum shares some savvy sale shopping tips Writing a thrifty Thursday post is a new feature of Ruth’s blog so pop over and take a look.
Some really useful information is being shared over on the Budget Mummy blog too and whether its books, clothes, washing machines or anything else Fiona has some great tips for you in ‘Why buy new when you can get it second hand swapped or free‘
How fabulously thrifty you all are!
