After a week of virtually no rain I have abandoned last week’s ark building project and am now making it into a shed in the back garden. It will become my space of meditation, solace and creativity. Aw, who am I kidding?? I’m a Mum of two, there’s no such thing any more! If I had spare timber we’d be building a giant Wendy House or Swing Set for the kids. C’est la vie.
While I’m dreaming of meditation sheds, I thought I would revisit the whole reason we acknowledge a “Blogger of the Week”. At BritMums we love to shine the spotlight on brilliant bloggers of all experience, level and niche. The Blogger of the Week is someone who has done something to stand out a bit from the vast crowd of bloggers; someone who is taking part; someone who is making a difference; someone who has accomplished something amazing; someone who is BRILLIANT. The Blogger of the Week honour is a pat on the back for “service to the greater blogosphere.”
This week’s BritMums Blogger of the Week is Splodz Blogz! We’ve come to know Splodz Blogz through the ongoing #SnapHappyBritMums challenge this month. We’ve seen some brilliant photos and have loved how Splodz has come out of the woodwork and joined in on a great challenge. The photos Splodz has been showing us on the #SnapHappyBritMums challenge have been delightful but we’ve also found some great reviews and Out and About Things to Do through Splodz Blogz. This is what blogging is all about! Stumbling across new bloggers who are really enjoying the blogging process.
Have a browse of Splodz Blogz and follow her on Twitter as well (@Splodz). Now, back to the meditation shed Wendy House. Anyone have some spare nails?
Just keep blogging (and snapping #SnapHappyBritMums)…
